Speedmaster XL 75-5+L. How offset volumes can be increased significantly using a highly productive press with up to 20 percent shorter makeready times and only 20 to 30 sheets for setup.
Well equipped for an economic upturn
“It used to take us 100 or even 150 sheets to set up a job. Now it’s just 20 to 30 for standard jobs. Makeready times have also fallen considerably and are at least 20 percent shorter,” says Production Director Ian Gatfield, explaining the benefits of the new Speedmaster XL 75. “The press is thus even more competitive than digital printing. Until now, our offset production was only for runs from 300 upwards – now we can deliver top offset quality cost-effectively from as few as 200 sheets!”
